There were more than about 200 fake websites in his name

Mumbai: The superstar of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan discloses how he started using social media. “Many years ago, I wasn’t very familiar with websites and other social media. Some of my well wishers mentioned that there are more than about 200 websites in my name. When I went through them, I realised that they (the well wishers) were right. But many of the websites mentioned a few wrong facts about me,” said Amitabh.
What was the inaccurate information and how did you react to it, we ask him.
“Actually, they had mentioned that I have qualified with a double MA. The fact is that, maine MA ki padhai kabhi ki hi nahi hai!! (I have never pursued MA). Then I thought about launching a website. But I was told that it would take almost five to six months to launch it. I was expecting that it would be completed within a day; this wasn’t possible. At that point in time, I decided to join Twitter, and I have now become well versed with the social media,” says Big B, giving a sneak peek into the beginning of his journey on Twitter.
