Hyderabad: Actor and Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, met 12-year-old Srija in Khammam on Friday. Srija suffers from a chronic disease and has been in the hospital for the last few months. She expressed a wish to meet her favourite star Pawan Kalyan. On hearing about it, Pawan Kalyan wanted to meet her too. He had been to Vizag to render help to cyclone victims, and while returning to Hyderabad, he stopped at Khammam and visited the hospital with toys for the child. He spoke to her parents and also donated '2 lakh. “Pawan Kalyan is now at the hospital in Khammam fulfilling the desire of the young girl who is seriously ill. There is an overwhelming response from the people of Khammam on his visit,” tweeted Sarath Marar, a close friend of Pawan Kalyan, who had accompanied the actor.
According to reports, while on his way to Khammam, the actor’s vehicle was involved in a minor accident, but the actor was safe and immediately shifted to another vehicle and reached Khammam.
