Vijayawada: Officials have started an inquiry into bogus ration cards linked with Aadhaar at several places in the district. It is alleged that some dealers are trying to retain the bogus ration cards by manipulating the seeding process. Instances of such manipulations have surfaced in several places in Krishna and Guntur districts.
Gudivada RDO S. V. Subbaiah pressed into service 46 VROs and 15 supervisors to inquire into the manipulation in 46 fair price shops in Gudivada town.The RDO said that an inquiry is on and action would be taken against the erring dealers.
