Mr Rao, had a sexual relationship with the victim

Hyderabad: The man who was allegedly murdered by retired department of industries deputy director V. Narsingh Rao has not been identified.

The 60-year old Narsingh Rao has refused to give details of the victim, who was his sexual partner, although he was seen hanging out with him on several occasions at many places.

Police said that Narsingh Rao used to pay the young man, who was in his early 20s, for sex. Narayanguda police produced Rao before court and he was sent to judicial remand.

“The accused has been remanded by court. We are continuing our probe,” said inspector S. Bheem Reddy.

The inspector added that all efforts are on to identify the deceased. Police suspects that he must have come to Hyderabad for doing petty jobs.

In the initial interrogation, Rao revealed that the youngster had bit him on his hand during a fight, and that he had pushed him out through the window.

Mr Rao, who is married with two children, had a sexual relationship with the victim.

In the early hours of Tuesday he allegedly threw the man from the third floor of a building where his lawyer’s office was located.
