'PK' motion poster : Anushka Sharma and Aamir Khan go on a posing spree

The actress launched her PK poster exclusively for the media

Mumbai: While Aamir Khan ha poster-thon to promote PK, it's now Anushka Sharma's turn to give us a glimpse of her avatar in the movie. The actress would be unveiling the digital poster on popular messaging application — Whatsapp. Aamir Khan had spiked our interest with the first poster where he posed completely naked but for a transistor, that he held very strategically to protect his modesty. Now, Anushka was obviously expected to raise the bar of boldness with the next poster

We caught a glimpse of the poster in an exclusive media preview, where Anushka is seen standing with the transistor, sporting a pixie cut and wearing a similar army uniform, like Aamir Khan in the previous poster. Aamir also gave a shoutout to the actress on Twitter a few hours before the launch:
Infact, word was that Anushka was required to cut her hair for the film, but the actress confirmed that she was sporting a wig since her character later dons a different hairdo. The actress while interacting with the media said that she has been neck-deep in projects for the last two years but she hopes that PK will mark the beginning of a new era in her career.
None of this really explains why the title character would be standing naked on train tracks with a transistor attempting to salvage his modesty, so let's hope the digital poster gives us some more clues about PK.
In the brilliant motion poster features Anushka in not one but five different looks. Now that was certainly a surprise. The video opens with Anushka’s back facing the audience and she says, “Confuziya gaye? Main PK nahin hoon. Mera naam hai Jagat Janani..Haan, Jagat Janani.”
PK’ which has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani also features Boman Irani, Sushant Singh Rajput and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures.
‘PK’ is slated to release on December 19, 2014.
