Telugu Desam says two MLAs returned back to party

CM appointed former minister Krishna Yadav as Hyderabad city president

Hyderabad: Some Telangana state Telugu Desam MLAs are playing a game between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers. Telangana Telugu Desam MLAs Challa Dharma Reddy and T Prakash Goud on Thursday met Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao along with Telangana TD MLAs Talasani Srinivasa Yadav and Teegala Krishna Reddy.

Mr Srinivasa Yadav and Mr Krishna Reddy announced they are joining the TRS while Mr Dharma Reddy and Mr Prakash Goud denied their joining the ruling party. Mr Prakasah Goud met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat and told him Telangana transport minister Mahendar Reddy took him to Telangana CM when he went to meet him on some work in his constituency.

Telangana Telugu Desam Legislature party leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao, speaking to the media, said Mr Dharma Reddy and Mr Prakash Goud are not leaving the party and said they spoke to Telugu Desam president Naidu. He alleged that Telangana CM is blackmailing the TD MLAs to join his party. He said they expected two MLAs — Mr Srinivasa Yadav and Mr Krishna Reddy — would join the TRS. Except the two no other MLA would join the TRS, he added.

Immediately after the announcement of Mr Srinivasa Yadav joining the TRS, Mr Naidu appointed former minister Krishna Yadav as Hyderabad city president.
