Mumbai: After bagging a role in the Hindi remake of Hollywood film ‘Brothers’, Jacqueline Fernandez might just have another film to add to her kitty. According to reports the actress is now in talks to star in the remake of the Anil Kapoor-starrer ‘Ram Lakhan’.
Jacqueline may reprise the role of Geeta (Ram’s love interest), which was played by the legendary Dimple Kapadia. Reports also state that Amrita Singh has been roped in for the role of Sharda (which was played by Rakhee Gulzar).
'Singham Returns' director Rohit Shetty will be directing the '90s remake. Sources from the industry say Subhash Ghai sold the rights of his superhit film for Rs 5 crore, and he will be associated with the new remake project as well.
Another of Subhash’s classics, Hero is already in the making under Salman Khan’s banner. It will be the launch vehicle of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.
