Hyderabad: According to the State Commission for Prote-ction of Child Rights (SCPCR), one of the posters of the film Savitri made by Ram Gopal Varma shows a teenager, around 13 years, allegedly looking into the private parts of a woman.
Even RGV had earlier stated that every teenager will have his own Savitri, either his teacher or a woman from the neighbourhood or may be his sister’s friend. Following this, the Commission took the statement and the poster seriously and took up the case suo motu. The Commission for the Protection of Child Rights issued notices to the Police Commissioner to prevent display of the poster, and the Censor Board and the director seeking an explanation.
