Vijayawada: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu here on Thursday called upon the people to cooperate in making the capital city as a model city.
Participating in Janmabhoomi-Maavuru programme at MBS stadium here, Mr Naidu said that Vijayawada has been selected as capital due as it is the most suitable for it. He said that the government has plans to provide CNG for all vehicles and pipeline gas for every house in city.
He also said that the government would supply LED bulbs for all the houses at nominal cost and fiber connectivity would be provided for all the houses.
The people could learn lessons from cooking to any work from watching channels, he said and requested the people to utilise fiber connectivity.
Mr Naidu said that the government would allot funds for Dwacra groups and farmers’ empowerment corporations.
Mr Naidu said that sand quarries income would be distributed 25:75 share for Dwacra groups and farmers empowerment corporations. The income would be utilised for Dwacra and agriculture loans waiver in the coming five years, he added. He also said that sand quarries maintenance would be allotted to the Dwacra group women.
