With a woman constable, Police inspector was watching obscene content at Kanakadurga Temple
Vijayawada: A police inspector was caught on Wednesday while watching pornographic videos on his mobile phone at Kanakadurga Temple atop Indrakeeladri, where Dasara festivity is going on.
Pandiri Varaprasad, who works as CCS wing inspector in Gudivada division, was posted at the Durga temple on deputation to supervise security and safety of devotees. With a woman constable, he was watching obscene content.
After the incident reached the state government, DGP G.V. Ramudu suspended the inspector. No criminal action was taken against the cop by city police apart from suspension.
