Baba Gurmeet film to entertain Malayalees

Movie with social message to be dubbed in Malayalam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Haryana head-quartered Dera Sacha Sauda sect’s controversial chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh may not have paid Rs 2.5 lakh expense incurred by state police for providing security to him during his frequent trips to Kerala, but Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and cops will soon get an opportunity to enjoy his film “MSG - The True Wonder Revolutionary” which is set for release in January 2015.

The full length social message film with Baba in the lead which will have all elements of a Bollywood blockbuster, is to be dubbed in Malayalam apart from other south Indian languages. Considering the special interest he has for Kerala, Baba’s supporters are keen on promoting the film in Gods Own Country. Many sequences of the film have already been shot at various locations including Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh.

At a recent press conference in Sirsa, Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh said; “We will dub the movie in all languages particular south Indian languages. Jeetu Arora who has directed several Hindi TV serials, is directing the film. MSG is the acronym of the three chiefs of the dera; Shah Mastana , Shah Satnam and Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.’’

Baba was in news recently when Kerala government wrote to Haryana additional chief secretary (Home) seeking reimbursement of Rs 2.5 lakh incurred on providing security during his visits to the state. When contacted, Haryana Home Department sources said they had informed the Kerala Government that Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was in Centre’s list of VIP protectees. The onus of providing security to such persons was on the state that he visited, he added Meanwhile, as a publicity exercise his followers have started making his cinema poster their Facebook profile pic.
