Mumbai: John Cusack has slammed the studio system of Hollywood saying that it is “ripe with frontier crazies” and is a “whorehouse”.
While describing the present-day Hollywood, the High Fidelity star told the Guardian in an interview that people were looking to turn their pain into beautiful art, but they also wanted to be famous and all the predators came in since there was so much money involved.
The 48-year-old actor also criticised ageing in Hollywood saying that it still is very brutal for women as compared to men. Cusack then went on to say that the showbiz industry was dominated by mega-corporations obsessed with franchises.
