TV actress Sukirti Kandpal is among the various contestants on Bigg Boss this season. Speaking to us about the show she says, “I’m quite excited about doing something new and out of the box. It’s not another daily soap. I said ‘yes’ when I was offered the show, but went back to my family for a second opinion. They asked me to rethink my decision, so I did and stuck to my stance. I decided I wanted to do this.”
The actress says she has watched the last season of the show and will be taking some lessons from there. “I liked how Elli Avaram, Sangram Singh, Apoorva Agnihotri and Shilpa Sakhlani conducted themselves in the house last season. But you can’t prepare yourself for Bigg Boss. Whoever thinks they can be ‘prepared’ is a big fool. My only preparation is shopping for new clothes. Besides that, I’ve been telling myself what to do and what not to do in the house.”
Speaking about host Salman Khan, Sukirti says, “He’s a phenomenon. That’s what makes the journey of Bigg Boss so exciting.”
Sukirti has a sweet girl-next-door image on television. Isn’t she worried how this show may bring out the aggressive side in her? “If someone slaps me, I slap them back. I’m sure the audience will understand it’s a situational reaction.”
