Mumbai: When Parineeti Chopra was recently asked if she’d wear a bikini on screen, the actress had asserted that the day she felt she had a body for it, she certainly would don swimwear in a film.
It would seem that Pari is now quite confident about flaunting her figure, for we hear that the actress has donned a black maillot for her film Kill Dil.
Pari’s swimsuit moment is quite in keeping with the tradition of other Yash Raj Films’ heroines.
Naysayers have been harping on the fact that Pari only plays “small town girl” type of roles in her films — could her glamorous, sexy new avatar be her way of throwing detractors off?
The actress tells us, “Some people have been judgmental, saying I can only play small town characters and it’s funny because I have done only four films. I hope Kill Dil changes that. It’s a new look, a new avatar.”
However, it’s not only showing off her sexy side that has Pari excited.
Working with Govinda was among the other high points of the experience.
“I wish I had more scenes with Govinda,” Pari said of her Kill Dil experience.
“We shot together for a couple of days but I was in a trance. I would just watch him perform, just observe the way he conducted himself on the sets. I hope I get to do more films with him,” she added.
