Hyderabad: It is known that Allu Arjun is playing the character of Gona Gannareddy in the biopic Rudhramadevi directed by Gunasekhar. The film recently completed its shoot and is currently in post-production.
A few days back, the director met Allu Arjun regarding his remuneration. “But the actor didn’t take a single penny, as he had earlier told the director that he would do it for free. The film is based on Telugu history, so the actor told the director not to worry about money,” says a source close to the actor.
Moreover, Gunasekhar himself is producing the film and the actor feels that the budget of the film is very high. He wanted to help the director and took the decision, added the source. This is a good gesture from a top actor as today many films are delayed due to remuneration problems.
