Celebrities from the B’town refrain to comment on this issue but TV actress Sakshi Tanwar wrote an open letter, stating why the businessmen involved are not in the limelight like Shweta has come.
However, Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone not only spoke in favour of Shweta, she also supported her act. We asked Deepika her reaction to the unfortunate Shweta Prasad expose. “It’s unfortunate, but if that’s the only way she could support her family, I don’t think there’s anything wrong. Instead of making this a scandal, why are we not supporting her? We should in fact, step up and help her and talk about the people who have hired her. Not look down on her,” she asserts.
