Mallika Sherawat faces flag case

Hyderabad: Following a court order a case was registered against Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat by the police for allegedly insulting the national flag in a poster of her film Dirty Politics. About a fortnight ago, a petition was filed at the 15th Additional Metropolitan Court against her. The petition was filed by Abdul Qadar Mukaram and Mohammed Samiullah Qureshi. Advocate M.A. Qavi Abbasi said the petition said Mallika’s poster showed her using the tricolour in a semi-nude pose. She is seen sitting atop an Ambassador car with a CD in her hand right in front of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
