Mumbai: Sony has launched the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, a new 8-inch waterproof tablet, which is also pre-loaded with PS4 Remote Play2. Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is 6.4mm slim and weighs around 270g. The tablet is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.5 GHz 801 Quad-core processor, coupled with 3GB RAM.
With the PS4 Remote Play, you can now use your Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact as a remote screen to connect to and control your games on PS4. You can even connect this tablet to your PS4 via home Wi-Fi and use the DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller with the GCM10 Game Control Mountto on your Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.

The PlayStation App lets you use your Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact as a second screen to remotely watch the game play of your game friends, communicate with PSN friends, purchase PS4 games and download to PS4, or simply to control your PS4. The company claims that Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet’s Digital Noise Cancelling technology helps you to listen to music without interruption.
On its camera front, Sony’s waterproof tablet sports the 8.1MP rear shooter with Exmor RS and 2.2MP front-facing HD camera. Its Multi-camera feature allows you to record from multiple angles at the same time.
Sony also claims that one can create a movie automatically from your photos and videos with the Movie creator. You can even further broadcast your videos live via Live on YouTube by Xperia.
