People will send Jaggareddy home with a clean pate: Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao

TRS got a big boost with CPI’s decision to back it in the bypoll
Hyderabad: Dubbing the BJP as ‘Babugari Jaggareddy Party’, IT minister K.T. Rama Rao said people of Medak Lok Sabha constituency will send home BJP candidate T. Jaggareddy with a clean pate soon.
“It will be great if Mr Jaggareddy gets deposit. People of Medak district have bestowed confidence in TRS in the past and will repeat the same in this elections too,” he said.
As election campaigning picks up, there is an increasing war of words between the TRS on one side and the Congress and the BJP on the other in the Medak. TRS ministers, MPs and legislators are campaigning in full swing and few days before the polls, Chief Minister and TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao will campaign and address public meetings, it is learnt.
Referring to TRS’s electoral promises, which he said would be implemented in letter and spirit, Mr Rama Rao said the government would take necessary steps to provide free KG-to-PG education.
Agriculture minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and other party legislators and leaders also attended an exte-nded meeting of the party at Sangareddy in Medak district.
Meanwhile, the TRS got a big boost with CPI’s decision to back it in the bypoll. The OU and KU students organisations have also decided to support TRS.
“Only the TRS fought against injustice to Telangana. When the Centre tried to impose Governor’s rule in Hyderabad, both the BJP and the TD were silent. Both parties were also silent when the Centre merged seven mandals in Khammam with AP. With what face does BJP seek vote from the people?” he said.
TRS MLC, Mr Karne Prabhakar accused Mr Jaggareddy of encouraging goondaism in Sangareddy Assembly constituency and was the villain who tried to stall Telangana. “He went to the extent of appealing to Congress president, Ms Sonia Gandhi not to give Telangana,” he said.
