Bengaluru: Lok Sabha Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa set to up the pressure on the Siddaramaiah government by quitting from his post and demanding that he be made a minister? Last week, the octogenarian Speaker made news by targeting the Congress government for its ‘sloppy’ performance.
Now sources in the Congress say he has a reason to be critical of a government run by his party he is under pressure in his constituency, Sagar, to come to the help of landowners facing the heat from the forest and revenue departments. The veteran socialist feels a cabinet berth is the best way to help out his people, said a Congress leader while speaking to Deccan Chronicle.
