BJP chief Amit Shah, N. Chandrababu Naidu discuss BJP-TDP ties

Amit Shah discussed the current relation between BJP and Telugu Desam

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the lalter’s Jubilee Hills residence here on Friday. Mr Shah, who had a breakfast meeting with Mr Naidu, reportedly discussed the current political situation and relations between the BJP and the Telugu Desam in the two states, ensuing GHMC elections and the Medak bypoll.

Telugu Desam is part of the BJP-led NDA alliance at the Centre and the party has electoral tie-up in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Telangana state BJP president G. Kishan Reddy accompanied Mr Shah. Meanwhile, several big wigs called on Mr Shah at the hotel he was residing in the city on Friday.

They include film producer Aswini Dutt, Dr Ramesh, Dr Vinod, Mr Srini Raju, besides senior party leaders Bandaru Dattatreya, Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, N. Indrasena Reddy, Dr K. Laxman among others. On Thursday night, actor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan had a one-to-one meeting with the BJP chief.
