For a couple of days, there was a lot of confusion over the release dates of Rabhasa and Oka Laila Kosam. Rabhasa was supposed to be released on August 15, but producer Bellam-konda Suresh pushed it back to August 29. However, there were later rumours that it might be postponed again to September 5. With this news, the makers of the Naga Chaitanya-starrer Oka Laila Kosam, which was supposed to be released on September 5, decided to bring the film forward to August 29.
“The makers of Oka Laila Kosam even contacted the producer of Rabhasa and said that he was bringing the release date forward,” says a source. However, by the same evening the producer of Rabhasa announced that he would be releasing the film as usual on August 29. This meant that the release of Oka Laila Kosam remained unchanged on September 5.
