Microsoft has officially owned up to the glitch caused by updating Windows to 8.1

Microsoft Windows users, who are updating to Windows 8.1 have been facing problems after updating from the online servers.

Many users who updated to the August update of Microsoft Windows 8.1 from Microsoft’s servers faced issues such as BSOD, black screens and even reboots.

According to a report on SoftPedia, Microsoft has officially owned up to the glitch in the August update of Windows 8.1, which has been causing issues for a few too many users.

Microsoft is working on a patch to rectify the problem and will release an update patch to fix this issue.

Users who have reported issues with the update stated that updates KB2975719 and KB2982791 are the main ones with the problem. It is recommended that the two updates not be installed for a while till Microsoft releases a concrete solution for the update.
