Supreme Court adjourns case against V. Dinesh Reddy

Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of the case against former DGP V. Dinesh Reddy
Hyderabad:A three member bench comprising Justice H.L. Dattu, Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose and Justice S.A. Bobde of the Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of the case related to a CBI inquiry against former DGP V. Dinesh Reddy in the alleged disproportionate assets’ case.
The bench expressed displeasure at the CBI for the report placed before it. The bench found discrepancies in the report and pulled up the CBI for at one place it is mentioned that there were no disproportionate assets while at another the findings are contrary to the earlier findings.
The counsel representing the CBI sought time to file a fresh report. The bench pointed out the delay in submitting the report despite its direction to complete the probe in a specific time frame. After repeated pleading of the counsel the bench adjour-ned the case for two weeks.
