Congress vs BJP: Rahul Gandhi conveys displeasure to LK Advani in chance face-to-face

Rahul and Advani are believed to have spoken in the corridor of Parliament

New Delhi: An upset Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is understood to have on Wednesday conveyed his displeasure to senior BJP leader L K Advani about the opposition allegedly not being allowed to speak on important issues in Parliament.

Rahul and Advani are believed to have had a chance interaction in the corridor of Parliament after Lok Sabha witnessed uproar when Congress and other opposition parties were demanding urgent discussion on communal incidents in the country.

Rahul was in the forefront in making the demand and even entered the Well of the House.

After they came face-to-face, Rahul is understood to have told the BJP patriarch that his party is not being allowed to speak on issues, sources said.

Advani told him that the issue is serious and Opposition's conduct was not good, the sources said.

Earlier during the ruckus in Lok Sabha, Advani seemed to be telling Minister of State for Parliamentary Prakash Javadekar something, which he apparently wanted to be conveyed to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu.

Congress and other Opposition parties were demanding discussion on communal incidents in the country through an adjournment motion.
