New York:The hacker group Anonymous has launched an attack on Israeli government’s websites following the war in Gaza.
The group claimed it had brought down several sites including one belonging to Mossad, reports said. The site belonging to Israel’s vaunted secret service was down after a week.
It was alleged that the attacks escalated after the death of Tayeb Abu Shehada, 22, a Palestinian protestor shot wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, which is a trademark of the group.
The shadowy hacker outfit vows to make Israel "feel fear tingling in their servers.
