Sreesanths new avatar under the scanner

Sreesanth’s new avatars have not gone down well with the Hindu Makkal Katchi
Chennai:He might have switched the pristine cricketing whites for the glitzy show jacket and dancing shoes, but sportsman Sreesanth’s new avatars of a music composer and actor have not gone down well with the Hindu Makkal Katchi, the self-styled patron of Tamil culture — infamous for moral policing several showbiz celebs.
Tinsel town is abuzz with the news about Sree’s entry into K’town through a bi-lingual titled Anbulla Azhage in Tamil, and how he was motivated by his bro-in-law and popular playback singer Madhu Balakrishnan in his endeavour.
HMK argues that the Tamil film industry is not an asylum for criminals and wrong doers, objecting that due to Sree’s tarnished image, he should be dropped from the project. The former cricketer received a life-time ban from BCCI’s disciplinary committee after he was allegedly accused of spot fixing during the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League. Alas, looks like it’ll follow him to his grave!
