MET officials said that rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in next 24 hours

Visakhapatnam: A low-pressure area lies over interior parts of Odisha and adjoining areas and IMD predicts moderate to heavy rain or thundershowers at many places over north Telangana.
Further, light to moderate rains are likely to occur at a few places over south Telangana and north coastal Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places over south coastal AP and Rayalaseema.
Meanwhile, rains las-hed some parts of Hyd-erabad on Thursday and recorded a total of 5.6 mm rainfall (upto 8 pm). Malkapur received 9.7.5 mm, Shaikpet (8 mm), Sardarmahal zone (7 mm), Asifnagar (6.75 mm), LB Nagar (6 mm) and Jubilee Hills (5.25 mm) among others.
MET officials said rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in parts of city in the next 24 hours.
