Babita dominated in 55kg category match against Brittanee Laverdure of Canada to grab India's 11th gold medal. Earlier, she won against England’s Louisa Porogovska to enter final in the 55kg category. She defeated Scotland's Kathryn Marsh to reach the semi-finals of the 55kg category.
Geetika Jhakar stormed into the finals of women's freestyle 63 kg by defeating Sarah Connolly of Wales.
India's Olympic medalist Yogeshwar Dutt stormed into the finals. He won his semi-final against Chamara Perera of Sri Lanka on technical superiority. Earlier, he outplayed his Scottish opponent Vladmir Gladkov in the men's freestyle 65 kg category and then won his next bout against Gareth Jones of Scotland.
