Nifty slides by 0.14 per cent and Sensex is down by 0.04 percent on Thursday

Mumbai: The Nifty falls 0.14 per cent, and the Sensex is down 0.04 per cent. IT stocks fall after rival HCL Technologies slumped after April-June U.S. dollar revenue growth lags some estimates.
HCL Technologies is down 2.3 per cent, Wipro is down 1.3 per cent, Infosys falls 0.6 per cent while Tata Consultancy Services is lower by 0.2 per cent. ICICI Bank is down 0.2 per cent ahead of results due later in the day.
Foreign investor sales of $63.4 million, their first in ten sessions, on Wednesday, also weigh.
