Hyderabad: In a move that will help citizens, the Telangana state government has started providing unit rates of immovable properties in city, town and villages, in its stamps and registration website.
The Telangana stamps and registration department, which launched its web portal this month, has this facility. Plans are afoot to update it with new market values soon.
“This is to help citizens find out land and property rates based on its location. People can access it through the internet to find out land rates, duty rates, and stamp vendor details,” said an official of the Telangana stamps and registration department. This will help property buyers know the valuation of the property they plan to purchase.
