Tata to roll out ‘Bolt’ this October

Tata Bolt is powered by the 1.2-litre Revotron turbo petrol engine

Mumbai: Tata has scheduled the launch of two of its new car models – Zest in August and Bolt in October 2014.

The interiors of the Tata Bolt features an electric power steering, center console, infotainment system and an audio system with MapMyIndia GPS, which will also have voice commands.

You can also sync your smartphone to the BOLT's in-car system and integrate with the Satellite Navigation to let your smart phone lead the way, while the infotainment system reads out your messages to you. Tata Bolt is also integrated with a state-of-the-art volume control that balances the tempo according to your speed to keep volume and velocity in sync.

The Revotron 1.2T engine of Bolt has a four-cylinder, turbocharged, inter-cooled, multi-point fuel injected (MPFI) petrol motor. Its 1.2-litre petrol motor develops 85PS at 5,000rpm and 140Nm of torque at 1,750-3,500rpm.
