This one was surely not made in heaven: 61-year-old woman marries 9-year-old

Mumbai: Marriages are made in heaven, goes the saying. This one too had beautiful fresh lavenders, sea of guests and blessings for the newly-weds. However, something seemed wrong and completely out of place.

A nine-year-old boy tied the knot with her 61-year-old bride. Not only this the couple married for the second time.

Little Saneie Masilela is perhaps the world's youngest groom to marry twice. The boy married Helen Shabangu last year and this, again.

According to people in this dingy town, Saneie claimed that his dead ancestors wanted him to get married. His parents and the bride agreed and finally arranged for the ceremony.

Saneie’s bride, Helen is already married to her husband Alfred, who was not only present at the ceremony but also blessed the couple.

As a viewer, it is hard to see a young boy walking with his bride, unaware of the seriousness of the word ‘marriage’.

Saneie and Helen don't live together and claim that the wedding was part of a ritual.
