India's Test record at Lord's

India beat England in Lords after 28 years, lead series 1-0

London: India's 95-run victory against England on Monday was only the second time in 17 matches stretching back 82 years that they had won a Test at Lord's.

The success of Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men, which put them 1-0 up in the five-match series following the drawn opener at Trent Bridge, saw them follow Kapil Dev's 1986 team as a winning India Test side at the 'home of cricket'.
