Hyderabad: The city’s first swine flu case in 2014 was diagnosed at the Gandhi Hospital on Sunday. However, the 24-year-old patient from Jedimetla, instead of seeking medical attention, decided to go away.

The young man, who had high fever and cold, had tested positive for swine flu. He was in the hospital only for a few hours. Though the doctors had started his treatment, he left the hospital in the evening. The issue has been reported to the district medical officer.
