Mumbai: Monsoon is here, and there are a few essentials that you must not forget this season. The monochrome look works well for this season. You can also liven up the gloomy weather with some cool prints which are mix and matched. Red would work well for the evening as a dress or a nice blouse with pants.
Here are some monsoon must-haves:
* A pair of chic gumboots — the Chanel ones are on my wishlist. Or get a pair of waterproof or PVC shoes to save yourself a few slips.
* A super cool umbrella — buy the larger one so it actually proves useful when walking in the rain.
* A trench coat, which is a classic. Go for one in a deeper tone so you don’t get your whites and summer lights dirty. A girl always needs a classic trench coat that goes from evening to night.
* PVC accessories — such as a handbag instead of your usual leather bag which would get ruined once in contact with water.
* Waterproof mascara — so that you don’t look like you’ve cried a river after getting wet.
* Don’t forget a chic phone cover and, buy a dry shampoo for a bad hair day.
