Ravi Babu is said to be keen on casting Rana to play the protagonist in the sequel

Hyderabad: Director Ravi Babu is currently going through a see-saw phase in his career. He is now busy working on the script of his new film which is
a sequel of Avunu, a critically acclaimed movie.
While Avunu starred newcomers, Ravi Babu is said to be keen on casting Rana to play the protagonist in the sequel and our sources say that the actor is still in talks.
The movie will be jointly produced by Suresh Babu and Ravi Babu.
The title Avunu 2 has been registered with the film chamber and the film’s shooting will start in August. The script, which is touted to be a horror-comedy, is in its pre-production stage and the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be decided.
Rana is currently busy shooting for Baahubali.
