FIFA World Cup 2014: Zico grabs attention

Brazilian legend had come to watch quarterfinal between France and Germany
Brazilian legend Zico was the centre of attention in the hospitality box, one rung below the media enclosure, during the France-Germany quarterfinal on Friday. One of the orchestrators of Brazil’s brilliant teams at the 1982 and 1986 World Cups, Zico was called the White Pele in his prime. The evergreen star had to oblige a long line of autograph hunters after the match.
He did manage to indulge a few even during the match as France and Germany produced nothing of note in the middle.
Zico’s teams played beautiful football and won nothing. Maybe Joachim Loew’s Germany has
taken a cue from the Brazilian teams of the 80s as they eschewed aesthetics in favour of the result against France.
