Hyderabad: Students’ unions held a protest on Friday at the VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology over the June 8 Beas tragedy.
The students were demanding that the college authorities be arrested. The protesters said the authorities had not taken adequate precautions before conducting the tour. Cops had been deployed at the college to prevent any untoward incident on the campus.
