Shah Rukh Khan to shoot with aam junta

The larger-than-life actor will hit the slums of Dharavi to shoot for Happy New Year

Mumbai: King Khan, for his upcoming film directed by Farah Khan, will soon hit the streets to shoot some scenes. The larger-than-life star, we hear, has decided to move out of his comfort zone of lavish locations and film sets, and shoot some portions in Mumbai’s Dharavi area.

Word is that Shah Rukh Khan will be shooting for a special action scene and the location plays a key role in the scene. “We’re in the process of getting special permission to shoot this portion of the film. And because it will be shot in the slums, the set up requires loads of security arrangement. We don’t want to take any chances as Shah Rukh will be shooting on the streets with the aam junta of Dharavi,” says a unit member of Happy New Year.

Currently, director Farah khan is out of town and will resume shooting the film when she returns to Mumbai. Meanwhile, SRK is sweating it out in the gym to gear up for this particular heavy-duty action scene. The production team has asked the officials to give them a good number of cops at the location and a massive number of personal security guards too will be stationed.
