Thundershowers occurred in Khammam, Nizamabad and Warangal districts of Telanagana

Visakhapatnam: The southwest monsoon has advanced into most parts of Telangana, the remaining parts of coastal AP and Rayalaseema. The IMD said that conditions are favourable for the advancement of the monsoon into the remaining parts of Telangana in the next 48 hours. Thundershowers occurred in the Khammam, Nizamabad and Warangal districts of Telanagana. Maximum temperatures were above normal by 2 to 4 deg C in some areas of coastal AP.
Heat wave conditions prevailed over some parts of Krishna and Guntur districts, and there will no specific warning for north coastal districts.
