FIFA World Cup 2014: Messi magic leads Argentina to 2-1 victory over Bosnia

Captain leads from the front as he scores teams winning goall

Maracana: Argentina registered a hard fought 2-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in their opening group F match played at Estiado Mario Filho stadium in Maracana.

Argentina werer made to work hard by World Cup debutants (Bosnia) but it was their talismanic skipper Lionel Messi who proved to be the difference between both the team as he scored his side's winning goal and secure three points for his team.

Bosnia can hold their heds high as thy fought hard till the very end and Ibesevic scored an historic goal to keep the match evenly poised but in the end Argentina ran away winners.

Its half time at Maracana Argentina lead thanks to own goal from Kolasinic from Bosnia. Bosnia though made a good comeback and almost scored through Lulic but Argentina goalkeeper Lulic makes an excellent save to keep his teams lead
