Venky acting in a Malayalam remake, all thanks to Mr Haasan

Hyderabad: Venkatesh is acting in the Telugu film Drushyam, a remake of Malayalam hit film with the same title.
“When we were searching for the lead actor, Kamal Haasan thought Venkatesh was the best fit for the character played by Mohan Lal,” says Raj Kumar who has bought the film’s remake rights.
He is jointly producing this film with Suresh Babu, while his wife Sri Priya, a former actress, is directing the film.
The film will be ready for release in July. Venkatesh and Meena are playing the lead pair and Nadhiya plays a cop in the film.
