Modi tweets congratulating Chandrababu Naidu and team for developing Andhra Pradesh

PM could not attend the swearing-in ceremony due to the busy Parliamentary schedule

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday took to Twitter to congratulate TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu on taking on as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and assured “all possible help” to his new government. Ahead of the ceremony in Guntur on Sunday, Mr Modi tweeted, “As Chandrababu Naidu ji takes oath as CM of Andhra Pradesh this evening, I convey my best wishes to him and his team in developing the State.”

“Chandrababu Garu’s administrative experience and commitment to development will be a great asset in taking Andhra Pradesh to newer heights,” Mr Modi wrote on his Twitter account. Mr Modi further pledged all support to the residuary state. “The Centre is committed to extending all possible help to the people and Government of Andhra Pradesh.”

The Prime Minister could not attend the swearing-in ceremony due to the busy Parliamentary schedule. However, many of his cabinet colleagues and Chief Ministers of other states attended the ceremony.
