Chennai: Actress Pooja who was last seen in a thriller, Vidiyum Mun, and recently won accolades for her performance as a sex worker, is once again in the news for her reported secret marriage.
Apparently, a wedding picture of the Naan Kadavul actress with an unknown guy that is being circulated on the web has created a stir in tinsel town. That was enough for wagging tongues to spread rumours that the pretty actress had married secretly and was soon to quit the industry. Recently, the Jay Jay girl stunned everyone by openly proposing to her first onscreen pair and close buddy, Arya, on a television reality show.
When this newspaper contacted Bangalore-based Pooja, the bubbly girl, who was in the midst of a family event, was in all smiles.
“Oh, so it’s started again? Two years back, the media got me married off to a Bangalore-based software guy which was baseless. And now again! Actually, it is a still from a film, titled Kadavul Paadhi Mirugam Paadhi, in which I play a guest role. The person in the picture is hero Raj and we both studied together in college. He is a good friend of mine. He asked me if I could do a cameo in his debut film and I gladly agreed. I shot for two days in Kochi for the film. Someone has leaked the still on the internet which was responsible for the rumours to fly thick and fast.”
