K Chandrasekhar Rao has glittering invitee list for swearing in ceremony

Hyderabad: Chief Minister-designate K. Chandrasekhar Rao has invited an array of personalities from various walks of life, including the kin of T-martyrs for his swearing-in-ceremony on Monday. Among them are industrialists, poets, writers, artists, sports personalities, academics from Osmania and Kakatiya universities.

Mr Rao, who has chalked out an ambitious plan to develop Telangana, has made it a point to invite the who’s who from industry, including CII director-general, Chandrajit Banerjee, Ficci director-general Didar Singh, Nasscom president R. Chandrasekhar and vice-president B.V.R. Mohan Reddy.

Also on the guest list are Microsoft India CEO Bhaskar Pramanik and Wipro senior vice-president Hari Hegde.

Ande Sri, the poet who wrote the Telangana state song Jaya Jaya he Telangana, Pasunuri Dayakarnu, who created the Telangana Talli statue, sculptor Ekka Yadagiri, who built the Martyrs Memorial, and the artist Aelay Laxman who designed the Telangana state logo, have been invited for the fete.

Apart from noted sportstars, Mr Rao has invited the parents of some Telangana martyrs, Indrasena Reddy, father of Ishant Reddy; Ms Shankaramma, mother of Srikantachary; Kondeti Laxmamma, mother of Venugopal Reddy etc.
