Students plan stir at English and Foreign Language University

Students urge social groups to join them in their just struggle

Hyderabad: Students’ organisations from the English and Foreign Language University, Osmania University and the University of Hyderabad met here on Sunday regarding the student protests at the EFL University.

The students decided to continue their struggle and announced that they would occupy the Vice Chancellor’s chamber on Monday. They also called upon all students, social and political organisations to join them by extending support and solidarity.

Students from English and Foreign Language University, with the support of organisations from other universities, have been protesting against the alleged unlawful rustication of three students.

Despite protests entering the third week, the English and Foreign Language University administration is yet to initiate a dialogue with the students to resolve the situation.
