Hyderabad: Jagapathi Babu, who recently turned villain with the Legend, is now in demand for such roles. He is playing the negative character in the K S Ravi Kumar directed Linga that stars Rajinikanth.
The film’s shooting started in Mysore recently and will soon shift to Hyderabad for the rest. Though Jagapathi Babu had announced earlier that he was doing the film, but according to a source, he signed the film officially only on Friday. The remuneration of Rs 1.5 crore will be earned in 20 days of shooting for the film.
At present Jagapathi Babu is busy with half a dozen projects in Telugu as he stars in Manchu Manoj’s untitled film, Ra Ra Krishnayya, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva’s upcoming project and two more films. Giving up the ‘hero’ tag has been a good career move!
