Mumbai: His tumultuous personal life has forced Hrithik Roshan to go underground. The superstar has begun to stall the shoots of his ad films indefinitely. He’s also avoiding other brand endorsement commitments such as making public appearances for product promotions and so on. This is costing several companies a fortune but they’re willing to wait for the star to give them his time.
Apparently, Hrithik wants to refrain from answering any queries on his personal life and is, therefore, avoiding public appearances. But recently, he did go out of his way to make his fan’s dream come true. The actor, who was in New York for work, was informed by a local NGO about a young fan who wanted to meet him.
“She is of Indian origin living in New York. She hasn’t missed any Hrithik Roshan film till date and likes to keep herself updated about his life and his films. She’s in a wheelchair and this is her favourite pass time,” says our source.
When Hrithik got to know about this, he asked the concerned authorities to arrange for a meeting with her. “Not only did he surprise her by showing up, he also spent an hour sharing with her anecdotes about his life and his films. He also asked the NGO to be in touch with his team and give them updates on her health,” adds our source. He may have a lot to deal with on the personal front, but Hrithik continues to be a man with a big heart.
