First behave like a responsible father, Mr Leander Paes: Rhea Pillai

Mumbai: A few days earlier, Leander had filed ‘a guardianship petition’ in the family court seeking custody of his eight-year-old daughter from Rhea. In fact, in the petition, he had accused Rhea for adultery, lying about her divorce with Sanjay Dutt, having a bohemian attitude and creating insecurity in the mind of the child

Following that, Rhea Pillai opened up about her relationship with Paes in an interview with Mumbai Mirror.

Rhea spoke about how she has no interest in living with Paes anymore.

“I am not interested in staying here. Who wants to live a life full of fights, blackmails and accusations?”

“But first he needs to start a trust fund for our child’s security. We will happily leave him then. But first behave like a responsible father, Mr Leander Paes.”

In the interview Rhea also revealed that Paes had been cheating on her since day one, she also believes that all the unpleasant allegations made against her by Leander Paes were in an attempt to gain publicity.

On being accused of having volatile temper by Leander, she says, " Lovely, can he prove it? And now he wants the custody of our daughter. Which court will give him the custody when he has hardly been involved in her parenting? He doesn’t even know where she is at any point of the day. From her report cards you can see that she is doing well. I am involved in her academics while Leander is not in the country for more than six weeks a year."

When asked if she will give child custody to him, she replied, “No way, never!”
